Dan Shearer - shearer.orgPractical, portable, everyday FUSE FilesystemsFUSE is for user-space filesystems on Linux and other Unix-like OSs. FUSE is a stable, Posix-compatible standard, a very powerful piece of duct tape. fsfs is for measuring how compatible and fast FUSE is, being a passthrough filesystem for testing any application with and without FUSE. exchangefs is a practical example for Unix users trapped in a Microsoft environment. exchangefs uses OpenChange libraries to mount a Microsoft Exchange server and export mail in Maildir format and has been written to illustrate how most ftp-style programs can be the basis for a FUSE fs. |
